STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Welcome to Staten Island, a borough where there is no such thing as bad pizza. So, jump on the trail to weave a path through parlors serving distinct and delicious pies.

On the trip, I recommend trying three restaurants consecutively — that alone can consume an afternoon or evening. Any longer than that, one might get “pie fatigue” with a burnt out palate and sudden weariness for sauce, cheese and dough. And I don’t wish that on anyone!
