If you didn’t know, 2024 will be the Ford Mustang’s 60th Anniversary, and it’s an exciting year, to be sure. With the arrival of the S650 Ford Mustang, fans of the legendary muscle car are excited. But there’s even more reason to get excited: “Brand New Muscle Car” (BNMC) has just announced a limited-edition series of 60 all-new Classic Mustang RestoMod Continuation Cars for the 60th Anniversary of the iconic pony car in 2024.

Cars ranging from 1965 to 1970 model year Ford Mustang Fastback and Convertibles will be available for purchase. These customer-designed bespoke Mustang RestoMods will be built from all-new, all-metal Ford-Licensed body shells at the Brand New Muscle Car facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, made famous in the MotorTrend TV series of the same name. The first Mustang RestoMod, numbered BNMC-01, will be built from start to finish on television in 2024, displayed at SEMA in Las Vegas in November 2024, and then sold on primetime TV at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in January 2025.

As for the Ford Mustang resto-mods, they can be ordered with your choice of drivetrains, including 427ci Windsor, 428ci FE, 5.0L Coyote, 7.3L Godzilla, supercharged, twin-turbo, and even reVolt (Tesla) EV powertrain, with five or 6-speed manual or modern paddle-shift automatic transmission. Indeed the combinations are near-endless.

All BNMC Mustang RestoMods feature Independent front suspension / IFS, rack and pinion steering, 4-wheel DISC brakes, power everything, adjustable coil over shocks, electronic fuel injection / EFI, modern all-in-one heat, defrost and air conditioning / AC, all-new wiring, brake lines, and exhaust, stainless steel fuel tank, modern audio, video and electronics, high-capacity aluminum cooling system with dual electric fans, and a choice of 17 to 20-inch modern wheels with high-performance ZR-rated tires.

As expected, with just 60 of these Restomodo Ford Mustangs set to be produced, 59 of which are available for customers to outfit, they won’t come cheap with a starting price of $299,995. But, this does provide the opportunity to get your hands on a brand-new version of one of your classic dream cars, fixed with all the modern conveniences of today’s newer vehicles.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Ford Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
